“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8).

Love is essential in any relationship that seeks to glorify God and truly thrive. This is a foundational truth that children need to learn early, and it should be reinforced regularly as they grow. As a parent, guardian, or caregiver, you play a vital role in helping the little ones in your life develop love for their siblings and others around them. There are many ways to nurture this, but today we’ll focus on one powerful method: actions.
We’ve all heard the saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” That’s especially true when it comes to teaching love. Every day, you have the opportunity to model love through how you treat others at home, at work, at school, at church, and in your wider community. Children are always watching. That gives us countless chances to show them what love looks like in real life.
Of course, some relationships can be challenging. Loving others isn’t always easy, especially when they seem “unlovable.” But we’re not alone in this. When we lean on the Holy Spirit, He empowers us to love beyond our natural limits. As we do, we not only grow ourselves. We also give the little ones a living example of God’s love in action.
God Bless You!
